The Pink Car...

Let me tell you a very intriguing story about this pink car. Remember me and my team with 24x7 went to Puerto Galera. During our trip going back to Manila we rented a van from Batangas Pier going to our office in Eastwood. On our way home, everybody is start to feel sleepy and maybe we get a little nap during our journey. I am seating on the second row at the back of the van. When we were somewhere, maybe near ESA Skyway (i really don't knwo the place) when cars are bumber to bumber. Suddenly look back and notice a pink car. I don't know what kind of car is that. I have little knowledge with cars for I have no car of my own. In the car were 4 girls around 17-20s. Two in the front and two at the back seat. They look cute but I could not see there faces that much. Everyone seems to be awake that time and since almost all of us are "barako" they become interested in looking with the girls when I told them about this. Now, suddenly my boss notice that the girl right next to the driver was gone. I counted the girls inside and they were three only. Our minds become puzzle and started to think of something... MMMMMM. what is going on here. Remember we were in the skyway and there is a trafic ahead. The reason, we are in the lane for the Toll station. Suddenly when our van move forward the pink car did not move. Now an officer from the toll who is also collecting fee is walking towards to their car and then suddenly the missing girl just appeared right next to the driver. At that moment I notice that her head is in the same direction of the driver. What are the things you can think of this situation? Is it a green thing or just an incident. Maybe the girl was picking up or looking of something in the car floor. She might lost her earings or something so it takes her some time to find it. Whatever the reason this things break the silence in our van. At least we had something to talk about while in the journey going back to our office. hahahhahahah.

Learn how to Swim.. overcome fear with water

One of the things that scares me is to be drowned because I don't know how to swim.

One of my friends at work invited me swimming in our condo in Eastwood Excelsior.

I know I can overcome my fear with water. So I know that I have to learn just in case.

From that day, I started practicing. And at this moment I believe that I am learning.

I learn by my own though it is slow. I started to overcome my fear and now at

least I can lower down my head under the water for a few seconds.

With this it helps me to relieve stress at work. It also good for my health and as a form of exercise.

So for those who really wants to learn how to swim, then my advise is to take a deep breath and control your fear. It takes a lot of confidence at start. Going in to the water is like going in to strong wind that makes you deaf. Peace and calm when you bond with water and never hear any but the beat of your heart.

But of corse the best way to learn it is to enroll yourself to a swimming lessons or have a swimming guru to teach you swimming in professional way. Do not go with my way. hahahahahha.

peace. =)

Team Building in Puerto Galera

Last November 15-16 our team went to Mindoro for our Team Building. We stayed in Talipanan Beach resort. This is my second time in Puerto Galera way back 2005, I can't remember the year anymore.

Saturday morning, around 2AM we travel Manila going to Batangas. We arrived almost 5AM in Batangas pier and waited for almost 2 hours before the big boat (Commandos) begin our island journey going to Mindoro. We travelled for almost 1 and half hour going to Talipanan beach resort. After checking-in to our rooms we started our activities. We test the water in Talipanan while waiting for our tour guide that same day. Around 10AM we started our island hopping. We first did the snorkeling- I can't remember the island or place but our toor guide took us to a place where we can view coral reefs and marine sanctuary. When we get there, we have our snorkeling equipments and life jackets and we paid 50 pesos so that a small boat will tour us around the place while we were holding the rope from it. Very nice although a few times some small shells or creature biten me that makes my skin itchy. After snorkeling, we went to another beach. Buy some pasalubong goods. Then we went to another island where we have eaten our late lunch. We were lucky because our tour guide cook our barbecue for our lunch. After our lunch, we went straight to White beach and did the banana boat. This is my first time riding with the banana boat. I thought I will going to be drowned for I don't know how to swim. Three times we fell from the boat which is the most exciting and challenging part. I enjoyed it very much although I really doesn't like when I swallow the salty water. My throat becomes so irritated with the saltyness of the water. After this banana boat we stayed for a few hours in White Beach. I decided to learn how to swim and I did succeed coz for the first time I was able to float. yehey... Remember that bouyancy in the ocean is high than in the ordinary swimming pool. So it is easy to float. All you need is to overcome your fear.

One of the most unexpected events that day was when we went back to Talipanan beach by land because the skies was dark already when we finish our activities in White beach. We do not know that they are not using their bangka at night. Imagine we walk along the seashore from White beach to Talipanan. How many kilometers is that? I believe we spent almost an hour walking along the seashore. The challenge is that we do not have any lights except the few stars, moon and the lights from our cellphones.

After arriving to Talipanan resort we rest a while and eat our dinner. That night we still have time to do videoke and drink a little. I did not drink because I was taking medicine that time.

Around 10 PM when I get back to our room and sleep. The next day we supposedly have to do treking but we cancelled that because it was raining that morning and we are all tired for so many activities we did on the first day.

We then instead spent our morning sleeping, eating, little videoke and resting in the beach. Around 1PM we packed our baggage and ride to Commandos going back to Batangas port.

We arrived in the office aroud 6PM Sunday night.
