Two movies on Monday

After my movie marathon last Sunday, the next day I watch my saved movies at home.

First is entitled Frost/Nixon. It is a story about the man- David Frost who challenge himself to interviewed the resigned 37th President of the United States due to Watergate case. He was able to bring out some truth and the true feeling and color of the ex-president. That is the highlight of the story.

From this story I suddenly think of the current status of our government. I know there is similarities to what is happening to our country. The only difference is that the Philippine government officials though they know to themselves that they are saying not the truth they still have face to and keeping themselves in their position.

I am hoping that these Government officials learned to accept their wrong doings and correct it.

Now the second movie is entitle "The Express". Is is a story of a great Black American who excell in American Football. At that time, Black people or they called Negro is considered a low level people with the White people. There is a racial descrimination in the Amerika especially in Texas state. The highlight of this story goes when his Football coach change his thinking and his treat to this young Negro "Ernie Davis" and to other Black Americans. Ernie died at the age of 23 because of his leukemia.

I still recommend that Philippined government officials to watch Frost/Nixon movie and hope they change. And for people who look themselves superior that the others, and for those people whose degrading themselves to watch The Express. You will find these two movies very inspiring.

Movie Marathon

Last Sunday I went to movie house and use my winning Movie pass tickets. I got those two movie passed during one of the Events in our company. It will actualy expired this coming Sunday of February so I decided to use it.

I got to the movie house around 6PM. Ahead, I plan to watch Australia but it is already started so I go for Inkheart.

Inkheart is a story about a person they called him- Silver tongue because everything he read from a book will go into life or will happen. Any kind of things like an extra ordinary creatures or even the characters from the story or book is like they wil come into life. The story goes like the main character is seekking ways to bring his wife came out from the book because it happened then wheneve a character goes out from the book someone will go into the book. The story ended when his daugther, happened to be a Silver tongue as well make way to change the story and bring everything back to normal.

After this movie, good to me that I can still catch the next screening for Australia. Is was almost 8PM when the movie started. I am hungry that time and don't have time to go out to the movie house to buy food for I do not want to miss the start.

Australia, from the title itself happened and about the history of Australia. The movie is about the history of Australis during world war 2 when Japanese envades countries in Asia. The story is about the woman who lost her husband who at that time have a ranch in Australia. The land is called "Far Away Down". The woman- Nicole Kidman able to find new love from an Austalian man (aka. Driver / Drover) and find her motherhood love with this young kid named Nala. Nala is a native Australian boy whom Nicole "Ashley" love as if her own.

Overall, I am satisfied and happy for the movies. I recommend Australia for it is a great movie. You will find yourself inspired and will learn a lot of things from this story. About the story of love, sacrifice, acceptance, being strong, faith, hope, equallness, understanding and a lot more. You will learn alot of life lessons in this story. This is a life or history and that is one of the reason why I wath this movie for I know I will learn a lot from it. And it is true.

Go Charice- We are so proud of YOU

At this moment, while writing this post, I am listening to Charice Pempengco. A young Filipina who is now making our country- Philippines known in the world. In the world of Music, the one I love the most she is now being known and wow the whole world with her breath taking voice. Very powerful, a very sensational and very distibctive and a very talented young girl.

You know, I am your fan since the first time you sing in televesion. I was able to view your performance and I know from the start like FalseVoice that you can make a great name in the Music industry.

You are my bet from the start and hope you should know that. I hope that since all the blessings is in your side right now, hope you will not change. Please, continue to hold with God and He will never leave you till the end.

Again, I am, we all very proud of you. Sorry, I miss your mini concern in Eastwood Libis. Though I want to standup in my chair and run to the place but I can't. I was in the middle of work that time. I know I miss that chance but I believe that one day I can see you.

Hook with the Davids

Suddenly I become a fan of the two Davids of American Idol season 7. I was not able to watch all there performances because I was busy at work. Just wanna thank the power of the internet and youtube and I am able to watch there performances. When I first heard the voice of this young David Archuleta I know that he can be at the top though my support was with our Pinay contestant- Ramiel Malubay. When she was elliminated my vote goes to the young David. I know that David Cook have an edge because of his rock image and his karisma which will help him to win. When news came out that these two will compete for the finals still my vote goes to David Archuleta however if I am going to consider the experience, to sell the person, money as usual, they would definitely go with David Cook. So, as expected- David Cook won. No problem with me. Either of the two deserves to be the next American Idol. At this moment I am hook with these two artist for they are both talented, gifted and very good singers. Goodluck!

Rubiks cube... finally completed

I remembered that I am able to complete and put the colors in their right place for about 7 min. I spent almost 2 weeks learning the moves and how to play this Rubiks cube. What I have is a 3x3 Rubiks cube. Yah, I am slow and still trying to think of techniques on how to make it quicker. But I am proud, at least I know how to play rubiks cube and able to complete it.

Charice Pempengco in Oprah...coming soon

Last night she was pictured in the news and soon will be guest in Oprah. Yes it is true, Charice will be seen on TV on Oprah, a tv talk show in US. One of the most p[owerful woman in the world invited Charice. Charice continued to be known abroad. Many people all over the world amaze with her talent. She is truly a talented young Filipina. Actually, I am proud to be a Filipino for many of the people here are talented not only with singing.

I am excited to wath the full episode of Oprah to see how Charice perform and amaze the world. This is a big step for Filipinos.

I hope Charice will stay as humble as she is. Though too much attention she receive she should learn how to look back where she came from. I know she is?

There are actually more Filipinos who are so talented and just waiting to be recognize.

Ramiele Malubay is out?

It really makes me sad when I watched the last performance of Ramiele in American Idol. I know she can do more. She have a great talent to show the world. But as what one of the old contestant from American Idol said, it is not the prize or to win in American Idol that counts. It is the chance of being one of the ontestants and the chance to perform in the stage and makes people appreciate the talent and the performance you did.

This is not the end of your career men. Just move on, this is just a start of the big challegea you have to face on. Go forward and remember that where you are right now will not tell who you will be tomorrow. You can do a lot. As what Paula said, YOU are a PHENOMENON. You rock!

Rubiks cube addict

Yes, I am a rubiks cube addict now. I finally solved the Rubiks cube. But honestly I solved it with the help of this link.

I know and learned how to complete 1 side of the cube. I was thought by Chantz- my teammate on how to solved the 1st two rows. And from here I followed steps 4-7 from the above link.

I am still learning and memorizing Steps 4 -7 but I have to master first the first 3 steps before going forward.

Hahahaa. I should be studying Microsoft for the MCP certification but I choose to learn Rubiks cube. Bad.

Manny Pacquiao the new WBC Super Featherweight World Champion.

Another great step for the Philippines. Our great boxer, the Pacman, Manny Pacquiao had won over the Mexican champion- Juan Manual Marquez last Saturday at Manadalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. It was a 12-round battle and at the end a split decision in favor of Pacquiao. I never seen the whole battle but from the comments of the Sports analist it should be a draw. Some said the score should be in favor of Marquez but some said that the score of the two were very much the same. But the favor goes to the Philippine champ Manny Pacquiao. Judges might go for Pacquiao because he was able to KO Marquez on some of the rounds.

I am a Filipino, so I am proud that Pacquiao won and I have no rights to questioned the judges decision. I know how Mexicans feel when they think there champ had won for this things happened before when we have our old boxer gals defeated by some foreirners abroad.

Janina SanMiguel... the new Miss World 2008

I never got the chance to watch Binibining Pilipinas 2008 pgeant night. However due to many people were affected especially with the issue of Janina San Miguel who was recently won the Miss World 2008 tittle. I am adding my comment on this matter.

Let's reminise the Question and Answer portion:

Paolo Bediones: Janina, how are you?

Janina San Miguel: I’m fine.

Paolo Bediones: Alright, so you won two of the major awards - Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?

Janina San Miguel: No, I don’t feel any pressure right now.

Paolo Bediones: Confident! Alright! Please choose a name of the judge.

Paolo Bediones: We have Miss Vivienne Tan.

Vivienne Tan: Good Evening.

Janina San Miguel: Good Evening.

Vivienne Tan: The question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to Binibining Pilinas?

Janina San Miguel: Well, my family’s role for me is so important b’coz there was the wa- they’re, they was the one who’s… very… Hahahaha… Oh I’m so sorry, Ahhmm… My pamily… My family… Oh my god… I’m… Ok, I’m so sorry… I… I told you that I’m so confident… Eto, Ahhmm, Wait… Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b’coz I’m only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the tough 10. Hmmm, so… but I said dot my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.

So what is wrong with this answer? She is 17 yr. old, a pretty and charming young lady. Shows confident but the problem was at the time during the Q&A portion. Wrong grammar, exactly. I think if the contestant is not confident to answer in English then better to do it in tagalog. I believe at that time if she continue to talk in Tagalog since she already spoke some tagalog word then she might express and said what she wants. She might won the Miss Universe title. How I wish? But we have to understand the fact that in this pageant, not only the inteligence is the criteria in choosing the winner.

If she won, then let's accept the judges decision. Never under estimate what a person can do. She still have time to study and learn the proper ways in dealing with Q&A portion.

Instead of insulting and judging the person, accept it and let just support her. I know that not every Filipino who judges that person can talk fluently in English. We are Filipino, though English is our second language we should never make "pintas" when someone make mistakes in using it. Even Americans themselves have issue using their own native language.

Ramiele Malubay in American Idol

Ramiele Malubay is one of the Filipinos that makes the Philippines to be known as the origin of people with great talent. Go Ramile, let America knows that you can take over. Whata whata voice you have. Be pround and show the confident of being a Filipina. We know that you can do it to the top. Filipinos are very much proud of you.

Singing is one of the great talent of Filipinos. We are recognize international because of this talent. Filipinos were able to express with deep feelings whenever we sing a melody. I belive that is the reason why we were able to amaze the world.

Take home the bacon girl! Go Ramiele! Be confident, be yourself, do what you want, sing what you want and don;t mind what other people say. Just move on and take pride of who you are. Let the people love you for who you are.

Angel of my life

I really envy this guy for everytime this new Mc Donald's TV commercial run I can't help my self but to watch Angel and dream like I am the guy. Hahahaha.

The said ad, entitled McDonald's Summer Colors of Love campaign, also features 'Float Away', a single by the Up Dharma Down.

As I was thinking before, one day she will be endorsing a tv ad and will be acting as a role of an angel. Who is this guy by the way? Anyone knows this guy? While composing this, I was wondering if I can edit this picture and put mine. But I don't want to mess up the image but if I have the talent in graphics surely I will post an edited image and put my face on it. Hehehehehhe. Yah, I am a desperate fan of Angel.

From Lobo to Life experience to Fun

I got the chance to watch Lobo last Friday starring my lovely Angel and his partner Piolo Pascual. She is beautiful, hehehehehe. How many times did I say that? For me she has a perfect face, perfect body, and a very charming eyes. Yahooooo. Love you Angel. This is my only chance to tell the whole world that I simply like her.
I am a supporter of Angel Locsin for I believe what she can do in the Entertainment industry. This is my opinion and I know that she is a good actress. I always believe that she made the right decision. It is something personal than what others say. I have no idea about the reason but when we made decision we should always think of the consequences.
I learned that whatever failures we had, we have to learn to stand up and move on with our lives. We should never leave our shadow behind and stuck from the past. We should think that the past should be left behind and think for a better tomorrow. Things are happening for a reason. We are living because we choose to live.
I was looking for a short summary of Lobo when I got stuck with this site. Many people are commenting, the rivals and humurs between ABS-CBN and GMA Network. I was LOL while reading the comments. Hehehhehehe

Happy hour

In the office we have this so called, happy hour or joke time for short. It is a good idea in a workplace to get-off our hands from the keyboard and spend time listening and joining the jokers. Get out from the dark side and stretch out your face a little. This is a healthy way to exercise your face. So have time to get along with your co-workers, indulge your self for a moment of laughter.
